Despite missing a year, Narcisse has interest

Windsor, Conn. is home to a few possible Division I prospects and none is bigger than tight end Ronald Narcisse. Despite the fact the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder missed last season due to grades, Narcisse is receiving plenty of college interest.
"He's getting mail from schools like Boston College, Connecticut, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Rutgers and others," said Windsor head coach Mark Welch. "Ronald doesn't really have any favorites now, but a lot of our kids prefer to stay close to home. I still think he needs to have a good camp and solid early film next year to improve his stock."

Narcisse missed last season due to grades falling just short of the requirements.
"He was ineligible and didn't play at all for us because we have a C rule here that started up last season and he just fell a little short as he was a little lazy," he said. "There is no question he'll play next year though as he has really improved his grades to an 84% GPA."
With all the interest, Narcisse certainly has upside. What are the college coaches seeing in him?
"He is a real good athlete that we're expecting big things from as a senior," he said. "He is a very aggressive player that is strong and has great hands. He also has wonderful jumping ability and then on top of that he has long arms.
"His dad played Major League baseball for the Mets and he definitely has those athletic genes in him. Ronald is a likable kid too that has a good personality."
Besides playing football, Narcisse also participates in baseball and basketball for Windsor.
