Desouza finalizing visit schedule

Dominic Desouza's travel schedule is a work in progress. The final draft is taking shape, though. Recently he's made an addition and a cancellation, making keeping up with his recruitment a bit tricky.
His scheduled Oct. 11 visit to UTSA? Cancelled. It may or may not ever be rescheduled. And as for a new trip on the docket, it seems the 6-foot-8 City College of San Francisco offensive tackle will head to the desert. That much he knows for sure.

"I have an official visit to Arizona State on Nov. 1," Desouza said. "I know a little bit about them already. They are on the rise right now and are shooting for a Rose Bowl. That's all I know for now."
In addition to Desouza's ASU visit, officials to Oklahoma State (Sept. 12) and Baylor (Oct. 12) have also been scheduled. The three-star prospect has a fourth visit in mind as well, and that will be taken with the hope of earning a scholarship offer. It's a risk Desouza is more than willing to take.
" I really want to visit Ohio State," Desouza said. "With them, they technically offered me, but they say I won't have an official offer until I come out and visit. So that's where things are with them."
Even without an official visit, the allure of the Buckeyes is very real for Desouza, who has a long standing relationship with the Ohio State staff. He never says that Ohio State will hold an advantage in his recruitment should it offer a scholarship, but he certainly doesn't mind outlining the school's perks.
"The Ohio State reputation is great and I've been talking to Coach Ed Warner for a while," Desouza said. "He's a great coach and can get me to where I want to be."
Desouza, who is scheduled to leave City College in December, plans to take all five of his official visits before choosing a school and intends to avoid a mid-visit verbal commitment. He will have three years to play two seasons at the FBS level.
