DeSoto star likes trip to Utah
DeSoto, Texas, three-star athlete/receiver Patrick Williams took his second official visit this weekend to Utah. After visiting Colorado last weekend, how did this visit compare to Boulder?
“He came back talking about how beautiful it is up there,” Berthenia Williams, Patrick’s mother, said. “He said the campus is so pretty and he had a lot of fun. He got a chance to watch them practice for their bowl game.”

But as soon as he walked in the door from the airport, Colorado coaches were there to make an in-home visit.
“It’s been crazy,” his mother said.
“Colorado just came to the door, and we’ve not even had time to fix him dinner after getting him back. It’s just a really busy time for all of us. We’ll have to talk to him later about what he’s thinking, but he definitely seemed to enjoy Utah a lot.”
Williams is set to visit Missouri next weekend. Kansas, Kansas State, Arkansas and Texas A&M also remain on his list.
