DeSoto LB has third offer

DeSoto, Texas defensive end/linebacker Von Miller likes to put his hand on the ground and be a fierce, pass-rushing, defensive end. However, several colleges have also talked about him playing the inside linebacker position. Regardless of where he ends up on the field, the scholarship offers are rolling in.
Texas A&M and Ole Miss started things with their offers, but another one has come from a Big 12 school. The 6-foot-2, 211-pounder says that one of those teams has emerged as the early favorite.

"I just got a new offer from Oklahoma State," Miller said. "Texas A&M is the favorite right now though. It's just something about them and College Station that I like. Plus, I've been down there like four times. I'm also going to go down there for their spring game."
The new offer from OSU is definitely not just another scholarship offer in his hand. His brother, Kevin White, plays for the Cowboys.
"Yeah I guess he tries to get me to come play there," Miller laughed. "Then again, every time that OSU has played A&M I've seen the game and that's kind of why I like Texas A&M."
Miller says that he's going to head down to OSU for a spring game visit as well.
The DeSoto class is getting a lot of recruiting attention, but Miller says this year's group is focused on more than recruiting.
"I think last year's class, everybody was worried about their individual things like the recruiting process," he said. "We know this stuff is going to come, so we're just focused on football until the time comes that we have to deal with it."
