DePietro excited over recent offers

Adam DePietro was deemed a prospect to watch long ago but recently the offers have really started to pour in.
Now DePietro can rightfully be considered one of the most highly touted offensive linemen in Pennsylvania, and even the entire region.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pound tackle from Lancaster (Pa.) Catholic has offers from Boston College, Michigan State, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and West Virginia, with plenty of other schools taking a close look at him.
"The most recent offer was from Michigan State," DePietro recalled. "That wasn't this weekend but last weekend. I think my coach has just been talking to a lot of schools and putting in a good word for me. He'll just e-mail me and say, 'These guys are interested and want you to give them a call.'"
That's how it has been for DePietro recently as the good news just continues to roll in.
Recently he visited two schools that have offered and that afforded him with a great opportunity to do some research.
"I was at Northwestern (two weekends ago) and Boston College this past weekend," he said.
"Northwestern was really nice. It's a beautiful city there. All the people are great. I got to spend the night both nights there with some of the offensive linemen. They're a great group of guys.
"BC was great as well. I didn't get to meet the players and I would have liked to, but I got a great feeling from the coaches. It seems like they have an awesome vision for the program."
DePietro doesn't have any plans for the immediate future but he said he will be on the road a lot this summer.
"I would like to make my decision before the season or maybe in the first couple of weeks," he added.
He went on to say he doesn't have any favorites because he still needs to learn more about a few of the schools recruiting him.
West Virginia and Michigan State are the two schools that have offered that DePietro has not visited yet.
