Denson still leaving things open

Miami (Fla.) Central athlete/quarterback Courtney Denson is still listed as a soft commitment to the Virginia Tech Hokies. Will he be taking other visits?
"I know I'm going on my official visit to Tech on Nov. 29," said the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder who committed to the Hokies in June. "After that I don't know. There aren't any other teams I'm thinking about right now, but I also know I need to be sure of my choice."

So what other schools will he consider for a trip?
"I'm looking at Florida State the most when it comes to in-state schools," he explained. "Nebraska and Auburn are also interesting. Both of them want me as a quarterback while FSU wants me to play wide receiver."
Denson's season is over as his team lost 28-23 in the first round of the playoffs. He threw for 270 yards, ran for 94 and scored two touchdowns in the game. He'll know better after his visit to Tech if he's solid or not.
"I'll get a better feel after that," he said. "But I committed to them for a reason. They're my favorite team."
