Denlinger commits to Ohio State

Troy, Ohio, defensive tackle Todd Denlinger and his parents made the trip up to Columbus today and formally committed to Ohio State.
The 6-foot-3 and 280 pound Denlinger is the top defensive line prospect in the state of Ohio. Denlinger said last week Ohio State was his top choice and would likely make a decision in the near future.

In addition to Ohio State Denlinger had offers from Wisconsin, Pitt, Maryland, West Virginia, Boston College, Northwestern, Duke, Tennessee, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Michigan State, and Stanford among others before selecting Ohio State.
According to Teri Denlinger, Todd's mother, Teri, Todd, and Todd's father Bart met with Ohio State coaches Jim Tressel, Jim Heacock, Luke Fickell, and Mark Snyder and formally committed to the Buckeyes.
