Demps sets up two visits

Pensacola (Fla.) Washington inside linebacker Jon Demps is a beast of a linebacker, who every schools in America would like to have in their program. He has set up his first two official visits and was supposed to be in Tallahassee this weekend for the Florida State-Virginia game.
“I was supposed to be at the Florida State-Virginia game this weekend, but I was not able to make it,” Demps said. “I was pretty banged up from my game on Friday and just decided to sit around and rest.”

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Demps runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds and is the No. 7 rated inside linebacker in the nation by Rivals.com.
“I’m not sure if I am going anywhere this weekend,” Demps said. “We play Suwanee over in Live Oak and I’m not sure if I will be able to make it anywhere. I have set up an official visit to Miami for December 17 and one to LSU for Decmeber 3.”
As a junior Demps racked up 148 tackles, six sacks and two interceptions and was named first-team all-district and third-team all-state.
“I know that Florida and Florida State are also definitely going to get official visits, I just have not set them up yet,” Demps said. “Right now, who gets that last visit is still up in the air.”
