Dembry takes first official

Ahoskie (N.C.) Hertford County quarterback Danny Dembry took his first official visit a couple weeks back. The 6-foot-3, 182-pounder made the trek north to Buffalo and had a good visit.
"I went up there on September 29th and it was great, I liked it and liked the coaches," he stated. "They showed me a lot of love when I was there. I got there on Saturday and mostly I watched them practice and then they took me out to eat. After the meeting, I was able to hang out with a few of the players and they were great.

"I also was able to talk to my position coach, coach Carr and Turner Gill. It was great to talk to them. They basically talked about how they run the offense and how I fit in."
The visit was a good one for Dembry.
"Buffalo is a cool school, but it's a little chilly up there," he said. "I'd rate the trip a seven or eight because it was a solid trip."
At the moment, the two-star prospect hasn't scheduled any other officials.
"I haven't really looked into the others," he said. "I do have offers from Kentucky, North Carolina State, East Carolina and South Carolina. All of them continue to be in pretty good contact. I do plan to most likely take all five visits. I think some will be during the season and others will be after."
