Dembry no closer to official visits

Ahoskie (N.C.) Hertford County quarterback Danny Dembry has nearly a half dozen offers. The 6-foot-3, 182-pounder has taken just one official visit up to this point in the season. When does he plan to take more trips?
"To be honest, I haven't really thought about taking them," he said. "My season just finished and my plan was to wait until after the football season to start thinking about taking trips.

"We ended the year 12-2 and did well. We were winning games and trying to make it to the state championship. That didn't work out, but we did win the conference and played well. I feel like I did everything my coach asked of me. I've tried to be a great leader this year."
Although he hasn't thought about visits, Dembry believes one more school may give him an offer.
"Wake Forest appears to be very close," he said. "They are waiting on my test score to come back and then they'll likely say yes. I think they've got a good program and would be interested in seeing what they've got."
Other offers the two-star prospect holds are from Kentucky, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Buffalo and East Carolina. What is the North Carolina prospect looking for out of a school?
"Pretty much I'll be looking for what academics they have, if they are good in business," he said. "I'll also be checking where they are located. I'm not sure how far I want to be from home."
