Dembry looking for more offers

Quarterback Danny Dembry out of Ahoskie (N.C.) Hertford County is sitting on five offers. The 6-foot-3, 182-pounder is continuing to receive interest from a handful of other schools too.
"I've got offers from Kentucky, NC State, Buffalo and East Carolina," he said. "I'm still in touch with Auburn, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, North Carolina and West Virginia. They all keep in contact with me. Of those, Auburn and Wake have discussed a possible offer by saying they want to check me out more this season and possibly will down the line."

The two-star prospect is beginning to think about official visits.
"I haven't made up my mind where I'm going, but I think I'm going to start deciding in a bit," he said. "I think I'd like to decide where I'm going by the end of the season."
Dembry is already two games into his senior season and he has faired pretty well to this point.
"In the first game I know I ran for a touchdown and threw for two touchdowns," he said. "Then last week I ran for 186 yards on 11 carries and threw for 97 yards and a touchdown.
"So far, I've been very happy with my performance. I'm more of a leader on the field and understanding of what the coach is looking for. I think our team should be great this year."
