Dembry closing in on decision
Hertford (N.C.) Ahoskie athlete Danny Dembry is closing in on a college decision. He currently is leaning toward an in-state program.
"I took a visit to Wake this past weekend and the coaches really liked me," Dembry said. "I think they'll offer soon. They're in the lead."

The 6-foot-3, 182-pounder played quarterback on his high school team this year.
"No more visits are set up right now, but I might take one more," Dembry said. Not sure where yet. I'm taking any more because I plan on deciding within a week or so. In order, it's Wake, ECU and Kentucky. All have offered."
