DeMatha trio receives UA jerseys

Terrance Davis, Tino Ellis and Shane Simmons, seniors from Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic, were presented their honorary game jerseys at the American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2016 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game on Thursday. The event was part of the three-month American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the Under Armour All-America Game.
Davis, Ellis and Simmons are three of more than 90 players selected to compete in the ninth-annual Under Armour All-America Game presented by American Family Insurance, a nationally televised competition spotlighting the country's top high school seniors. The 2016 Under Armour All-America Game is slated for Saturday, Jan. 2 and will be televised live on ESPN2.

"What made me accept the invitation is the tradition of the game and the players that have played in it," said Ellis.
"I accepted the invitation to show out for my team and play on a bigger stage for my school," said Simmons.
"I decided to play in the Under Armour All-America Game because it was the game I have seen on TV and you go against the best in the country," said Davis.
