DeMatha back has five offers

Not much has changed for Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha running back Marcus Coker over the past month or so, but he has managed to pick up a new offer.
The 6-foot-1, 222-pound prospect from talent-rich DeMatha claimed a new offer in a recent phone interview.

"Since the last time we talked I think the only thing that's new is an offer from Minnesota," he said. "That's really all that's new.
"I talked to their coach and he said they were looking for me to be their premier back. They think I can step in and do that for them."
While Tim Brewster and the Gophers, as well as schools such as Iowa see Coker as a running back, some others are recruiting him as a linebacker -- such as Michigan.
"I don't really care either way," he said. "I mean, I would prefer to play running back, but whatever gets me on the field is fine."
Coker said he does not yet have any favorites. He does not know when he will make his decision, either. More than likely he will wait until near the end of the recruiting process, so he will know all the schools that plan on offering.
