Deloatch eyes more visits

Three-star wide receiver Romond Deloatch out of Hampton (Va.) Phoebus still holds two scholarships. However, the 6-foot-4, 213-pounder is receiving interest from other colleges as the season is quickly approaching.
"I've got two offers right now (Marshall, Temple)," he said. "I'm going down to Florida State and East Carolina soon.

"Florida State said if they see what they like they'll offer me, I'm going down there right after two-a-days. I'm going down to East Carolina in two weeks. They just want to see me. They are very excited to hear about me and they want to see that I'm interested in their school. They pretty much have told me to keep me on their list cause I'm on there's."
Other schools continue to monitor Deloatch as well.
"A lot of school want to see me and they want me to get my SAT scores right, that's the only thing."
In addition, Deloatch is contemplating official visits.
"I'm not sure yet about this season, but I will be going to five or six schools this fall."
Florida State continues to stick out, but the No. 25 prospect in Virginia is keeping it open.
"My favorite is Florida State, but if they don't come through I've got to have a plan B."
Practice is just about to heat back up and Deloatch is looking forward to a big year with Phoebus.
"My hands have gotten better, I'm getting down the field and I'm quicker. I'm still working on my awareness, but that will come in time," he said. "I just have to keep working and I'm excited for the season.
"We're ready. I'm trying to do more and talk less and making more action happen."
