Deloatch claims new offers, starts visits

Hampton, Va. wide receiver Romond Deloatch claims a pair of new scholarships. The 6-foot-4, 213-pounder took one trip recently and is planning a couple more visits in the near future.
"I just visited North Carolina and I'm planning on Temple and Cincinnati next month for unofficials."

How was Chapel Hill?
"I liked what they were telling me about the school," he said. "I talked to some of the coaches and they run a pro-style offense. I have a good opportunity of playing my first year. They have two seniors starting and one sophomore, that's a good thing.
"The game was good too. I went to the one against Rutgers and they won."
According to Deloatch North Carolina has offered.
"They offered me during two-a-days about a month ago," he said. "I like North Carolina, but I'm not letting a lot of stuff out."
It's known Temple has offered, but it's not clear on his status with Cincinnati.
"I got an offer from Cincinnati about two weeks ago," he said. "I like Cincinnati. They run a spread offense and throw the ball a lot. I'm comfortable with the team."
Those four along with Miami continue to be the three-star prospect's top schools.
"Right now I'm just narrowing it down and I'm talking to Miami's coaches. Those are my top schools."
On the field, Deloatch has been limited.
"The season is going well and I'm doing pretty well," he said. "Right now I only have about 100-yards on four catches, I'm getting doubled a lot.
"I can see a little bit of an improvement in my game. I'm getting separation from corners this year and I'm a little quicker from working out over the summer. Overall, my team is young and we're going to grind it out for a state championship."
