Delaware OL impresses at camp

Milford, Delaware offensive lineman Alex Bell recently attended a camp at James Madison and had the coaches thoroughly impressed. The two-star tackle still has one offer but is receiving more attention than he originally anticipated.
Old Dominion offered the 6-foot-5, 251-pound lineman a while back and since then Bell has been waiting for others.

"I'm actually on my way home from the JMU camp," Bell reported. "Coach Malone, their offensive line coach, said I was the best lineman there. He invited me back for the App State game, which is the fourth week of the season I think. He just said they would keep in touch.
"He told me that since they took three offensive linemen last year they're only taking one this year, and that will be based on senior film. If I have good film I might get an offer."
In addition to James Madison, Bell has been hearing from Old Dominion, Richmond, Delaware and Appalachian State. He has received a couple of emails from the Princeton coaches as well.
"I thought I would be able to make a decision before my senior season but the way camps are going it looks like I'm going to get a lot more interest than I thought. I might hold off for a bit.
"Right now ODU is at the top of the list mainly because they offered first and I'm just comfortable with all the coaches.
"I'm probably just going to be sending film out to the schools that have been recruiting me. I don't want to say they discovered me, but I think those are the ones that are genuinely interested."
