Delaware LB still under the radar

Due in part to an injury that made him miss half of his junior season, Salesianum (Dela.) Salesianum School linebacker Jim Custer continues to be under the radar. The 6-foot-1, 220-pounder is working hard to prove himself on the camp circuit this summer hitting up a number of colleges.
"I just got back from Maryland last week," he said. "There was a lot of competition there and I think I could have done better, but it was still a good experience.

"I also got back from Monmouth and it seems like they really like me. I think they are going to offer soon."
Custer claims a verbal offer still from Navy.
"That's still a verbal, they want to check out my grades and it'll come through in the fall."
Meanwhile, Custer plans to hit up other schools soon.
"I'm going to Elon and on my way back to James Madison," he said. "I'm also getting interest from other schools. Temple is consistently sending mail. I really want to get up there cause my sister just graduated from Temple this spring.
"I'm supposed to go to a team camp at Delaware and then I'm getting mail from Pittsburgh and UCLA. They both say they are interested and want to see more this season."
