Waco, Texas wide receiver Tory DeGrate made the trip to Norman, Okla. for Oklahoma’s Red-White spring game.
“I had a real good time up there,” the 6-foot, 180-pound DeGrate said. “I got a chance to visit with the players and the coaches. The whole atmosphere was nice. There were over 40,000 people there for a scrimmage.”

DeGrate kept an eye on the Sooner offense and how the receivers were used on the field.
“They throw the ball all over the field. They get a lot of different receivers involved in the game. A lot of the time, there are several in the game on one play. I like the way they do that.”
Oklahoma ranks right up there on DeGrate’s list at this point.
“I don’t want to call one school a favorite or anything, but they a right up there. I’m also looking at Texas, Arkansas, LSU and Texas A&M. Texas and OU probably stand out a little more than the others right now, but I want to get a chance to look at the schools and go from there.”
DeGrate plans to take a closer look at Texas this summer at the Longhorns’ summer camp.
“I’m going to go to Texas’ camp. I’m also planning on going to the Nike camp at A&M in May. Arkansas has asked me about their camp too.”
