Waco, Texas wide receiver Tory DeGrate continues to line up his official visits.
“Everything is going real well with recruiting,” the 5-foot-11, 177-pound DeGrate said. “Nothing really new is happening. It is just mainly the same schools calling.”
One of those calls this week resulted in an official visit being set up.

“You know about my visits with LSU (Dec. 5) and Texas A&M (Jan. 16),” he said. “But I just set one up with Arkansas for Jan. 23 this week. Those are the only ones so far. I wondered about setting them up for December, but January is when it works out for the school and for me, too.”
DeGrate has had the opportunity to take in two games this year, one Texas A&M game and one Baylor game. And, he hopes to take in another one before the season ends.
“I really would like to go to the Oklahoma versus Texas A&M game,” he said. “That is one I really want to see.”
DeGrate has helped lead Waco to a 5-2 record.
“We lost one game early,” he said. “Then we dropped a district game this past Friday by one point.”
On the season, DeGrate has pulled in 36 passes for 650 yards and six touchdowns.
