Visit No. 1 is in the books for Waco, Texas, receiver Tory DeGrate. So what did the 5-foot-11, 177-pounder think about his time in Fayetteville when he visited Arkansas?
“I think the thing that stands out about Arkansas is how they throw the football around more than I thought,” DeGrate said. “I think the atmosphere is great and the fans are amazing. They really get behind their team and know how to support a winner.”
But this was just stop No. 1 on the visit list for DeGrate, who is ranked as the nation’s No. 29 receiver and a three-star prospect by Rivals.com. Up next is LSU on December 5, Oklahoma State on January 9 and Texas A&M on January 16.
“I’m also talking to Purdue now about a visit,” he said. “They’re really coming in the picture now.”
