Deffner likes Big Ten and MAC
Greenwood (Ind.) Center Grove defensive back Mitch Deffner is talking about five schools at the present time. Four of the five are either Big Ten or MAC schools.
"I talked to a coach from Purdue," Deffner said. "I talked to Toledo and Indiana coaches. Yesterday I talked to a coach from Air Force."

The fifth school Deffner mentions is MAC member Ball State.
"I'm going to a couple one-day camps this summer," he said. "I'll probably go to Indiana and possibly Ball State."
Two schools stand out a little at this point.
"I'm pretty interested in Toledo," Deffner said. "A friend of mine from Center Grove plays for them.
"Growing up I was an Indiana Hoosier fan."
The 6-foot-4 and 195-pound Deffner is waiting for his first scholarship offer.
Deffner played mostly safety during his junior season, though he did move to cornerback on occassion. Deffner intercepted two passes.
