Defensive tackle not optimistic yet
DeSoto, Texas defensive tackle Cedric Cofer, who is 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds has not received any formal scholarship offers yet.
Coaches from Missouri, Texas, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Southern Methodist, Texas Christian and Arizona State have visited his school for evaluations with his high school coach.

However, no scholarship offers appear to be coming any time soon for this Texas lineman.
"I don't expect any offers any time soon," Cofer said. "I'm still getting a lot of attention from recruiters though."
As a junior, Cofer had 49 tackles and two sacks. He helped his team make it to the fourth round of the playoffs last season.
