L. C. has been selected to the Pre-season All Greater
Houston Team after earning All District last season.
Projected as a Defensive End at the next level, he
will once again line up at Defensive Tackle for his
Senior Campaign.
Two-a-days begin on the first day of school next
Monday and L. C. is raring to go. L. C. is quite
gregarious yet when he sets foot on the field, “I get
mean! Oh yeah.” He describes himself as full of
hustle, aggressive and quick. Last year he racked up
35 unassisted tackles, 23 assisted tackles and 4
sacks.
He has been contacted by over 45 schools including
USC, LSU, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Arizona, Kansas
State, Auburn, Texas A&M, Colorado, Purdue, UTEP,
Tulsa, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, TCU, Louisiana-Lafayette,
Louisiana Tech, North Carolina State, Minnesota,
Washington, Clemson, Syracuse, Northwestern and
Alabama.
So far, L.C. has garnered offers from Iowa, SMU and
Baylor.
“LSU and Iowa are recruiting me the hardest.”
Currently he lists his favorites as Iowa, LSU, Miami,
Georgia Tech and Nebraska and would like to set up
visits to all five. USC or UCLA may get a visit.
Iowa
-“Iowa is recruiting me hard. They told me that are
very happy with how I look on film.”
-“They want me to visit.”
Baylor
-“I might take an unofficial visit there.”
Texas A&M
-“I’ve been there on an unofficial. I wouldn’t mind
going up there again.”
LSU
-“They have written a lot. They have great indoor
facilities. They have one of the biggest stadiums in
the country. The weather is good and it’s not too far
from home.”
Miami
-“That’s a big one for me.”
-“I always liked Miami as I grew up. Cornelius Green
went to my school and plays defensive end there.
Their defense is the same as mine at Aldine so it
wouldn’t be to difficult to pick up.”
-“I like the school’s history. They always win.”
Georgia Tech
-“Good Academic school and a good football program. I
grew up liking them too.”
-“Good, very good coaching staff.”
Nebraska
-“They have an excellent history, a great history, a
winning history, a great football team.”
-“Good coaches and they are really supported by the
student body and have lots of fans.”
-“I’d like to visit for the Notre Dame game. THAT
will be a good one.”
UCLA
-“The weather, good athletic and football programs.
Academics, just everything.”
USC
-“They are recruiting me hard.”
Distance will not be a problem and his parents will
support his decision.
