Defensive end has offer pending
DeSoto, Texas defensive end Chris Boyd feels that one college will be making its firm official scholarship offer very soon.
"Cornell has an offer pending my SAT score," Boyd said. "Coaches from Stanford, Cornell, Washington and Arizona State have called me (in May)."

The 6-foot-2, 270 pound Boyd plans to attend summer camps at Washington, USC and TCU and expect offers to come at those camps.
As a junior he had 30 solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and two sacks. He also received all-district recognition for his play.
