Defensive end continues to pile up offers

Duncanville, Texas defensive end Xavier Lawson-Kennedy has an offer from about every major football program in the nation right now.
"I probably have 34 offers now from schools everywhere," the 6-foot-3, 290 pound Lawson-Kenneday said. "USC, Texas, Arkansas, Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Colorado, Nebraska, UCLA, Michigan, Michigan State and Stanford are the ones I can think of right now. I don't think I mentioned those before in interviews."

According to Lawson-Kennedy, Texas, Oklahoma, Miami, USC and Notre Dame are recruiting the hardest at this point with more mail, calls and calls to his coach than the other schools.
An early decision does not seem to be the case for him and he denies a favorite.
"I'll make my decision after the season and all five visits," he said. "I don't have a favorite at this time and no, I don't know where I'd sign if today was the signing day."
"About every school I've heard from has offered. That doesn't leave many more to offer and be added to the list of schools being considered. I'm wide open to all of the schools I'm hearing from."
Summer camps will not be necessary for this top defensive end.
"I don't have any camps planned," he said. "The coaches said I didn't need to go to any camps since everyone had already offered."
As a junior he had 102 tackles, 10 sacks, 69 quarterback hurries and 32 tackles for loss.
He says that he ran a 4.88 electronic-timed 40-yard dash on his high school's track not too long ago.
He has increased his maximum bench to 405 pounds and his squat to 585 pounds.
