Defensive backs added to Rivals250

On the heels of Tuesday's Rivals100 release, Rivals.com is unveiling our latest installment of the Rivals250 - a list of the top players in the country.
While there are many top prospects that have been in our 250 from the start, this edition includes some new additions - led by Wetslake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian cornerback Anthony Gildon.

Gildon's play during his senior season has led to a jump from three-star status to four-star recognition and a spot in the top 250.
Gildon is a tremendous athlete, and has rare size for a cornerback prospect. Although Gildon is committed to Oregon, that hasn't stopped Southern Cal from extending a recent offer in hopes of swaying him.
Gildon is joined by fellow defensive backs Cris Hill from Virginia, Akeem Auguste from Florida, Jamell Fleming from Texas and Todd Doxey from California as new additions to the list. However, the defensive tackle and tight end positions also brought multiple additions.
Florida athlete Joseph Hills projects as a tight end in college despite playing most of the time under center. The 6-foot-4, 213-pounder shot up the charts based on impressive athletic ability and potential.
Georgia commitment Aron White from Missouri also jumped into the list after an impressive senior season.
At defensive tackle, recent Tennessee commitment Donald Langley from Maryland has developed into one of the best 3-technique line prospects in the country. Alabama tackle Alfred McCullough also makes his debut in the Rivals250. Oregon defensive tackle Myles Wade is back among the nation's best after a recent drop.
West Virginia commitment Terence Kerns from Maryland is having a huge year and could be the next great one for the Mountaineers if he remains committed. Numerous other programs are still in constant contact with Kerns.
Overall, there were 25 additions to the Rivals250. Obviously, that forced 25 players to drop off the list. Among the bigger names no longer on the list include Texas defensive tackle Chris Perry, Georgia offensive lineman Chris Little, Florida offensive lineman Lashawn Pouncey and Virginia athlete Davon Morgan.
