Deehan shows his stuff at NIKE Camp

There were several talented tight end prospects at the recent NorCal NIKE Camp and Poway (Calif.) athlete Ryan Deehan took a back seat to none of them. The athlete picked up offer No. 7 following the event and several more could be on the way.
Deehan measured in at a very solid 6-5, 228 pounds and had a very nice workout at Stanford. Deehan is a fluid athlete who runs well and is smooth in and out of his breaks. He has good size and hands but the most impressive thing about him is his overall athleticism and his skills all translate well to the next level.

"I really had a good time at the camp," Deehan said. "The competition was very good and I thought I had a good camp overall. I caught the ball pretty well and just enjoyed myself out there on the field."
Deehan entered the camp with offers from San Diego State, Cal, Arizona State, Texas A&M, Colorado and just last week, Oregon.
"Boise State was at my school and offered me today," Deehan said. "Maryland offered me last night and Utah, UNLV and Montana were also by the school and I think a few more will be by later in the week.
"I'm going to camp with some schools this summer and I'm just trying to stay open to everyone right now. June 3 I'll be going to the ASU camp. June 9 I'll be at UCLA's camp and June 22 or 23rd, I'll be going to USC's camp.
"All of those colleges have already been by the school and USC actually came by twice. The second time, Pete Carroll came out and that was pretty amazing to see him walking around our campus.
"My favorites are pretty much UCLA, USC and all the schools that have offered. Like I said, I'm trying to stay open and just see how everything plays out. It would be nice to stay close to home but that won't be the deciding factor in what I do."
