Declouet not rushing decision

Receiver Jaydrick Declouet of Patterson (La.) is hopeful his performance at two upcoming camps will lead to offers from a pair of programs he really likes.
Next week, he'll be at Arkansas (June 12-14). Soon after, he will take his talents to LSU.

"LSU told me they're going to see me in camp, and [assistant coach Frank Wilson] said I might get an offer if I do good," Declouet said.
Declouet said he has been in regular contact with the Tigers. Interestingly, though, that isn't the case with Arkansas.
"They came to our school and my coach told them about me," Declouet said. "But I haven't had any contact [with them]. I really like Arkansas. It's a spread team and I like that."
Declouet currently holds 12 offers. They've come from Houston, Kansas, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, Memphis, North Texas, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Southern Miss, Tulane, UCF and Vanderbilt.
Thus far, he has visited Houston, LSU and Southern Miss. In addition to Arkansas and his planned return trip to LSU, he also hopes to hit North Texas, Pittsburgh, Purdue and Vanderbilt this summer.
At this point, the 5-foot-10, 170-pounder insists no leaders have emerged.
"It's kind of hard to pick right now," Declouet said. "Probably by the end of the summer I'll have a top five. I don't want to rush and make a bad decision."
