Decker back from MSU official visit

Birmingham (Mich.) Brother Rice linebacker Adam Decker was offered a scholarship by Michigan State last week and officially committed to the Spartans on Thursday. Decker then made his official visit to East Lansing this weekend.
"I just got back from Michigan State a little bit ago," Decker said. "It went good."

Asked why he chose Michigan State, Decker said, "It's a school I'm really familiar with. I feel comfortable there. When the opportunity came it wasn't a hard choice.
"I've been a Michigan State fan all my life. My dad played football there and my mom went there.
"Most likely I'll play linebacker there, but they also said they were going to try me at defensive end and tight end. But the coaches said most likely I'll be a linebacker."
The 6-foot-3 and 217 pound Decker made 94 tackles including eight sacks during his senior season. He intercepted two passes.
