Decision time coming for Lewis

The decision timeframe for San Antonio (Texas) Lee outside linebacker/safety prospect Travis Lewis has gone from weeks away to days away.
Lewis, the 6-foot-1, 213-pounder says that his decision between Oklahoma and Nebraska will most likely come this week in the next day or so. The San Antonio speedster says that both teams are dead even leading up to his commitment.

"The way I see it, I can't make the wrong decision," Lewis said. "Two really good programs, great coaches, and that's why I wanted to visit both. It really all comes down to just picking one of the two.
"I'm days away right now."
When asked if either team had an edge, Lewis said that each Big 12 school was "exactly even." One difference between the two schools is distance from home. Lewis says that it's not a factor he's using in his decision, but it's not completely off his mind either.
"With Oklahoma being closer, I guess you could say that might be a factor in the long-run, but if I'm picking a college, closeness to home wouldn't be a factor for me," Lewis said. "I'm not using it to make my decision."
Rumors were also swirling that Lewis had already spoken to some teammates and family members that he had his decision made. The talented Texan says that rumor is also untrue.
"No, no," Lewis said. "I'm really even and I'm looking to decide soon, but I haven't yet. The sooner I can get it out of the way and pick a college a commit, the sooner I can move on to other things."
