Decision soon for Cali TE

A week ago, we talked to an excited Mychal Rivera who had just picked up a scholarship offer from Oregon. The Van Nuys (Calif.) Birmingham tight end picked up offer No. 3 on Tuesday but it sounds like the Ducks are closer to getting their man.
Rivera, 6-4, 230 pounds picked up his first offer from Nevada and then Oregon offered a week ago. His most recent offer came earlier today.

"San Jose State offered me today," Rivera said. "They have a nice program and I was excited to receive the offer from them. Ole Miss also came by the school and said they'll be offering me in about a week.
"Pete Carroll was also by the school today and that was pretty cool to see him on campus. He said USC was recruiting me, Milton (Knox) and Donovan (Carter).
"Right now, I'm still very high on Oregon and I'm going up there for an unofficial visit June 2. I was going to attend their one day camp June 10 but I just figured I would go up a week earlier and if things go well, I'm planning to commit.
"Like I said before, Oregon is the school I really want to get an offer from and I can't wait to get out there. I really see myself committing on the visit but won't do anything until I check out the campus."
