Decision nearing for Texas LB

Rowlett, Texas linebacker Jared Norton has had two schools near the top of his list for quite a while and that hasn't changed for the talented prospect.
"Texas and Texas A&M are still at the top of the list," the 6-foot-3, 220-pound Norton said. "I've been to both places and visited with the coaches. I also got to go to the spring games at both schools."

The two in-state schools are not alone on Norton's list.
"Those two are at the top," he said. "But, I'm still interested in LSU, Notre Dame and Oklahoma State. The coaching staffs at all of the schools are really good and I think I could learn a lot from them. I just want to make sure I make the best choice for me that I can."
Norton's decision should come this summer, sometime.
"I am looking at having my choice made this summer," Norton said. "I'm going to go to camps at Texas and Texas A&M. I'm hoping to make the choice so I can focus on football this fall and not have to worry about trying to decide where I am going to go."
