After taking a step back recently to reset his recruiting, 2014 four-star defensive end Dante Sawyer of Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett thinks he might be approaching a decision date.

"I'm keeping quiet," Sawyer said on Monday. "I'm not really going anywhere or doing anything, but I'll commit soon, just to get it over with."
Sawyer said four schools remain on his radar, South Carolina, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee. However, he said no school holds the lead.
"I don't have a top right now," Sawyer said. "I'm just going to throw it out there when I throw it out there."
Sawyer said the process has become "stressful" over recent weeks and he's hoping that once he makes a commitment he can clear his mind and focus on his senior season.
One thing that might hold up his decision is the fact he's yet to visit South Carolina. He said he's hoping to remedy that situation shortly.
"I haven't visited South Carolina yet," he said. "That's the thing. I want to get up there real bad. I want to get up there as soon as possible."
Even if he can't visit Columbia soon, Sawyer said a decision is coming within the next two weeks.
