Decision grows nearer, Francois sticking with three

DALLAS -- Rivals250 quarterback Deondre Francois of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy announced a top three of Oregon, Auburn, and Florida State in June, and as July nears the three schools continue to stand at the top.
"Right now I've brought it down to a top three of Oregon, Florida State, and Auburn. No order. And that's about it," Francois said.

He names no order, but does he have a leader?
"Oregon a little bit and Auburn and Florida State," Francois said with a smile.
Even the coaches from all the programs have made an equally strong impression.
"I like Jimbo (Fisher)," Francois said. "I really like (Gus) Malzahn and (Rhett) Lashlee at Auburn. I met coach (Scott) Frost at spring practice but it's limited talking so when I go up there things should get interesting after my Oregon visit."
At the moment the leader has not been named, but he does have plans to name his top school and announce his commitment in the near future.
"At the end of July at IMG," Francois said. "I was going to do it at the Opening, but I want to see Oregon before I do it. So I decided to push it back and do it at IMG."
In addition to visiting Oregon, Francois would like to re-visit Auburn and Florida State.
Francois is currently ranked No. 170 in the Rivals250 and he is regarded as the nation's No. 8 dual-threat quarterback. He also earned Quarterback MVP honors at the Third annual Rivals.com Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge presented by Under Armour.
