Decision date set for Rivals250 OL

After a recent visit north to see the campuses at the University of Michigan and Notre Dame, Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy offensive lineman Alex Bullard decided that he was close to a decision. On Tuesday afternoon, the four-star prospect made his decision date official.
"I'm going to announce my decision on Friday at my school at 10 a.m. (CT)," Bullard said. "We're out of school but it's going to be at the school. I think it's going to be at 10 o'clock."

The Rivals250 member has picked up offers from around the SEC and the country since his recruitment began this fall. He took an active approach to the process by taking early visits to almost all of his schools of interest. As a native of the Volunteer State, he has taken multiple trips to Knoxville. In April he visited the Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa. Finally, this past weekend, Bullard was able to knock out trips to Michigan and Notre Dame.
This active approach has made Bullard confident he is ready to decide.
"Basically, now that I've seen Michigan and Notre Dame, now all the schools that I can see myself at, I've gotten to see," he said.
For Friday morning, Bullard has narrowed down his list of 21 scholarship offers to five schools: Tennessee, Alabama, Notre Dame, Michigan and Oklahoma. Bullard has visited all of them in person except for the Sooners.
Throughout his trips, Bullard has been looking for similar things out of each program.
"Basically I've been looking for a place where I feel most comfortable, a place where I can have the most success on and off the field," he said. "I'm looking for great coaches and good support and they care but also a place where I get that degree that means a lot in the corporate world."
Bullard said that he has a good idea of who he will choose on Friday but is still going through the decision-making process throughout the week.
