Decision coming

Rivals100 offensive guard Tray Allen has decided that the time has come to announce where he will be heading for his college football playing days.
Allen is scheduled to announce his commitment at his high school field house on Thursday. Rivals.com will have a live audio webcast of the event. The broadcast will start prior to the announcement which is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. ET on RivalsRadio.

Allen says that right now his current leader is Texas but schools like Texas A&M, Southern Cal, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Notre Dame have been under consideration for the last several months.
"I want to go ahead and do it, but I had to talk to my mom first," Allen said. "She just said as long as I get a good education, she doesn't care where I go. I'm just ready for college football man."
After visiting the Longhorns for their spring game, Allen appeared close to a decision right then and there. His interest is obviously high with UT.
"They have a great coaching staff, they're getting ready to take the program to new places," Allen said about the Horns. "I love hanging out with the players down there and I know a lot of them from up here in the Metroplex."
The Aggies have also been in the thick of things. Towards the beginning of the process, they were the early leader.
"I've checked out Texas A&M and I know that's a place I could come in and play early," Allen said.
Oklahoma State was another school that Allen had positive things to say about.
"Oklahoma State has a lot to offer," Allen said. "They're going to be a school in my thoughts."
The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Allen is widely considered one of the nation's best offensive line prospects and possibly the top offensive guard in the country.
