Deboskie still has two on top

The last time we spoke with Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton running back Covaughn Deboskie, he was planning to use the summer to take unofficial visits to several schools on his short list. That hasn't happened and as a result, the athlete said his top two schools remain the two local schools he already checked out.
Deboskie, 6-0, 195 pounds is easily among the nation's top running backs. He has a nice frame that will have no problem adding size in college, explosive speed and great hands out of the backfield.

As for his planned visits, Deboskie said he wasn't able to make it out anywhere.
"I was hoping to take a bunch but I just could never find the time," Deboskie said. "I went to our team camp and that's really the only thing I've done this summer. I was going to check out Michigan at one point but they got a commitment from Sam McGuffie so they're not really an option any more.
"I've been to Cal and Stanford and since those are the two I've seen, those are my top two schools right now. Things could change after I take my official visits but right now, I really like those two a lot.
"I'm also looking at Alabama and Florida and will definitely visit those four schools. Arizona State and Clemson are high on my list as well. I'm going to take all five official visits for sure and hopefully I can take those during the season so I can see the schools on a game weekend.
"When my trips are over, then I'll sit down and try and figure out where the best place for me is. I'm just looking for the best fit football wise and academically and also where I'm comfortable with my position coach. He's the one I'll be spending the most time with so my relationship with the position coach is more important to me than how I click with the head coach."
