Deboef already at five offers

Offers are beginning to roll for a massive Keystone State offensive tackle. The 6-foot-8, 265-pounder already claims five scholarships including ones from the Big East and Big Ten.
"I've heard from a lot of people," State College (Pa.) State College Area offensive tackle Jack Deboef said. "I've gotten full rides from Buffalo, Maryland, Temple, NC State and I just got one earlier this week from Purdue.

"It's pretty cool to get all these offers as a junior. Obviously I've never done this before and I don't want to get too excited."
Interest is also coming for Deboef from Syracuse, West Virginia, Notre Dame and Penn State.
Does he have any favorites?
"Since I live here in State College, it would be really cool to play here for Penn State," he said. "The only other team I've been rooting for would be my hometown team Iowa."
With interest picking up fast, what does he want in a college?
"Well, obviously I want a good football program and academics," he said. "I'm looking at the business field and want a good business program. I think location does matter in a way too. I would like to stay close to people I know."
Deboef plans to attend the Blue-White game at Penn State this spring.
The humongous lineman is coming off a solid season in which he earned honorable mention all-star.
"We actually went undefeated and I started all but two games. I beat out an upperclassman," he said. "So far from coaches, I've heard I'm very coachable. If I'm doing something wrong, I try my hardest to fix it and be the best I can."
