Deacs still lead for Muncy

When Wake Forest became the first school to offer Tazewell, Virginia wide receiver Matt Muncy a scholarship they helped themselves out enormously.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound junior still appreciates the early attention from the Demon Deacon coaching staff.

"Wake Forest is my favorite," Muncy said. "They were my first offer and that gave them a really big advantage. I haven't gotten any new offers recently but I've been talking to a bunch of schools.
"I like that (Wake) is really close -- only two hours away. The coaching staff is great. I feel like I'd fit in there easily."
Muncy may be pretty busy in the coming weeks.
"I've been invited to a lot of spring practices so I'm hoping to take three or four visits in April," he said. "I would like to go to Wake Forest just to watch one of their practices.
"I want to go to Vanderbilt because I've been talking to them a lot. Then I'll probably go to UNC and Virginia Tech. That's four visits and I might make one or two more. I'll probably go to Tennessee's spring game."
