DE Wray is taking visits

Shelby, N.C. defensive end Carlos Wray took one unofficial visit in-state recently. The 6-foot-2, 250-pounder plans to head to another school this weekend.
"I have recently been to Wake Forest, that was cool and I like the coaches out there," he said. "I talked to Coach McCartney and Russ. They are going to keep an eye on me."

Next up for Wray is a visit to Tennessee this weekend.
"I'll probably be headed to Knoxville this weekend to check out Tennessee," he said. "They send me stuff, letters and told me to visit when I get a chance, that's what I plan on doing."
At this time, Wray claims a top three.
"Duke is still No. 1 and I have Tennessee and Ohio State in the top three," he said. "Even if Duke didn't have the offer out, I love the atmosphere, coaches and the fact I'm real tight with Coach Cutcliffe. He's a real good guy.
"As far as Ohio State goes, I have an interest playing for Coach Tressel. He's loyal to his players. Coach Dooley at Tennessee seems like a good coach too. Going through all those coaching changes and still making it to a bowl game with 16 true freshmen says they are doing something right. I've heard a lot about Rocky Top and really want to check it out."
Meanwhile, camp season is quickly approaching and Wray is starting to make plans.
"I will probably be at Duke for their summer camp, probably Clemson, Georgia Tech in July and Auburn if I can make that one."
Wray posted 88 tackles and 14.5 sacks as a junior this past season.
