DE Warren holds at least one offer

Cambridge (Mass.) Cambridge Rindge and Latin School is stacked with talent for the next two years. In 2008, 6-foot-2, 225-pound defensive end Jarard Warren is the cream of the crop and according to his coach he does hold at least one offer.
"He's getting interest from Notre Dame, Duke, Connecticut, Boston College, Maryland, North Carolina and Michigan State," Cambridge head coach Paul Gonnella said. "I can tell you he does have an ACC offer. I just can't say who it is yet. We're waiting to make sure we hear back from them.

"I expect him to have about five to ten offers by May 1st. I think the teams that get in on him early will have a better shot. Obviously being here in Boston, he likes Boston College. He went to a couple of their games last year. The thing is he hasn't seen football outside of this area and I want him to get an opportunity to take some of those visits on Saturdays during the season to at least visit elsewhere to see what other schools offer."
What stands out about Warren as a player?
"He's athletic, tough, smart and fast," he said. "You know, he can run and jump and pretty much has it all. His motor is always running and he doesn't bust assignments. His upside is huge and he's very coachable.
"He's also going to be able to put on a lot more weight. I imagine he'll grow to 6-foot-3, 255-pounds easy. He's a big boned kid that just needs to get in the weight room more. I think he'll be a good one."
