DE Stanton makes a decision

Fairfax (Va.) Robinson defensive end Jordan Stanton just came off a visit to Boston College over the weekend. The 6-foot-4, 236-pounder made his choice on Monday. Where is he headed?
"Actually I made my decision today," he said. "I chose James Madison. They've been recruiting me for a long time.

"I really like the coaching staff and campus and how good the football program is. They won the national championship in 2004 and I have a teammate there. They have been with me the longest since July."
The Dukes staff was a big factor in his choice.
"Their coaching staff and the way they interact with the players, I get along with everyone there," he stated. "I like the players a lot. I can see myself getting along with them really well. Plus, it's a good campus."
Stanton sees a chance for early playing time too.
"They said I can see the field pretty quickly after I redshirt."
The two-star prospect is relieved to be done with the process.
"I'm just grateful to have this choice and ready to move on."
Stanton selected James Madison over offers from Boston College, Maryland and Old Dominion. Any reason he went for the smaller school?
"I liked all the schools, but I went where I felt more comfortable for the next four or five years," he stated. "It's not the level of football, it's where you can see yourself at."
