The off-season has been busy for three-star weakside defensive end Rashawn Shaw. Shaw landed recent offers from N.C. State, Northern Illinois, and UCF.
The elder Shaw said, "Alabama called his coach (Josh Shaffer) and they want him to come to the spring game and meet the staff."

His teammate Sharieff Rhaheed-Muhammed committed to LSU last week and the SEC is a place where Shaw could end up too.
All of the new attention has him focused on the recruiting process even more. At one point it looked like he wanted to stay in Florida, but everything is open at the moment.
In the latest Rivals.com player rankings he checked in with a 5.7 Rivals rating, just below 4-star status.
His dad said they noticed the list when it was released and it will serve as motivation for his senior campaign.
He is trying to make plans to attend the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour this Sunday in Atlanta.
Shaw has collected twenty-eight sacks over the last two seasons.
