DE Sets Visit No. 3

Cincinnati (Ohio) Woodward defensive end Ray Edwards has scheduled his third official visit and his list of six or seven teams continues to change a bit.
"I set a visit with Ohio State for Dec. 6," said the 6-foot-6, 235-pound rush end. "I've already been to Purdue and I also have Boston College scheduled for Nov. 15. I have a few others teams I'm thinking about visiting."

Edwards, who has 12 sacks in 10 games this season, is also considering visits to Notre Dame, Penn State, South Carolina and a few others. Oddly enough, an offer from Miami didn't do much for him.
"I'm not interested in Miami, it's not for me," he said. "I'd like to stay within a reasonable distance from home and academics are very important to me. They're a great team, but I'm looking for something different."
Edwards doesn't list a leader but does like all three schools he's set visits with.
"Ohio State is big-time football and the fans are great," he said. "I really liked the feeling I got at Purdue, it felt like home and it's quiet -- not like OSU which is huge and a bit overwhelming at times. Boston College is a great academic school and I hear so many good things about the campus and city. There are also a few Ohio players there and a bunch of Ohio guys going for a visit that weekend."
Notre Dame is also very high on his list.
"They're doing everything right and winning games with defense," he said. "That's one great turnaround there. I'll take an official visit there."
Edwards wants to take all five of his official visits, or at least four of them, before he decides.
