DE Schofield draws his first two offers

North Chicago defensive end prospect O'Brien Schofield (6-foot-4, 220 pounds) has begun to see his recruiting stock soar, and Schofield has added his first two scholarship offers this spring.
"I've received scholarship offers from Iowa State and Central Michigan this week," O'Brien Schofield said. "I'm really excited to have an opportunity to play football on the college level, and myself and my family are thrilled about being offered scholarships from both schools."

Schofield's thoughts on landing an offer from the Cyclones? "I know that Iowa State plays in the Big 12 conference, which is a great football conference, and I also know that they offer a great mix of facilities and football. Iowa State also offers my major (Sports Management) and that's a plus. I'm going to try to make an unofficial visit this summer to Ames."
Central Michigan? " I know that they play in the same conference as Northern Illinois (Mid-American Conference) and that they have a new coaching staff. I've heard some great things about the campus at Central Michigan and I'm going to do some research on them."
Schofield's phone has continued to remain very busy this spring. "Over the last week or so I've gotten calls from Iowa State, Clemson, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan, Purdue and Iowa. We've had several coaches making in school visits as well. Kansas, Minnesota, Northwestern, Bowling Green, Wisconsin and several others have made in school visits."
Schofield is also starting to set his summer camp plans. "I'm looking to camp this summer at Iowa, Clemson and Penn State, and I might add a few more at the end of May."
