DE Robinson talks Ole Miss official visit

Defensive end Austrian Robinson is getting closer and closer to announcing his commitment. The Pawling (N.Y.) Trinity Pawling stand out took another big step towards hi commitment by taking an official visit to Ole Miss last weekend.
"It was great," said the 6-foot-4, 267-pound Robinson. "It's a really good school and being around the players was great. I got to hang out with the players a lot, walked around campus and I saw how it would be if I came out there.

"Everything was good," he said. "We had a meeting there the other night and the players welcomed everybody in and they all wanted us to come there."
It sounds like Robinson was very comfortable in Oxford but he also enjoyed his conversations with the coaching staff.
"It was great," Robinson said. "They just told me that they feel like I could come in next year and play. After next year they're losing a lot so they need depth. That's mainly what we talked about."
Three schools have the best shot at landing Robinson's commitment.
"Right now my top four are Ole Miss, Ohio State, Miami and Maryland," he said. "I don't have an order right now. Maryland, Miami and Ole Miss are really high right now.
The next steps for Robinson will be difficult.
"I'm going to go home, process it all and talk to my coach," said Robinson. "I go to Ohio State next weekend. I'll do that and then figure out what I'm going to do. I'll probably announce on Signing Day.
"I know Maryland is trying to come up on Thursday," he said. "Ole Miss and Purdue are trying to come this week also. Everyone is trying to come after the storm."
In eight games this season, Robinson made 25 tackles.
