DE Porter prepares for college visitors

Chicago (Ill.) Morgan Park three star ranked defensive end prospect Sam Porter (6-foot-2, 225 pounds) was just getting ready to host his first in-home college coach on Monday evening.
“I'm just waiting for the coaches from Eastern Michigan to stop by tonight (Monday)," Porter said. "We've been getting everything lined up today, and we'll have some hospitality for the coaches as well as some deserts."

Porter filled us in on his in home scheduled visitors.
"Tonight Eastern Michigan will be here, then on Tuesday night the coaches from Ball State will be here. On Wednesday night the coaches from Bowling Green are also scheduled to make a visit. A few other coaches have called and said they would be setting up in home visit soon."
Porter also has been looking hard at setting up a few additional official visits.
"I'm still going to take my official visit to Ball State this coming weekend, and I'm also thinking about taking an official visit on December 10th. I'm still trying to decide on taking that visit to either Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois or Bowling Green. I'll make that decision in a few days."
Porter in the meantime is working hard in the weight room this off season, but also took time to enjoy his Thanksgiving weekend.
"I had a really good Thanksgiving with my family. I think I added a few pounds no doubt, but you can't help but do that in this house on Thanksgiving."
