DE Ogundeko opens it back up

Brooklyn (N.Y.) Thomas Jefferson defensive end Ebenezer Ogundeko has decided to shake things up. After a commitment last month, the 6-foot-4, 235-pounder wants to slow it down and has decided to decommit.
"I have decommitted from Connecticut," he said. "I'm trying to weigh out my options and I'm not going to make my decision until Signing Day now."

Part of what made him shift was the rising interest coming in.
"In the past two weeks I've gotten offers from Boise State and Maryland," he said. "I like Boise State and I'm going to visit them probably my senior year.
"I don't really know much about Maryland, but I plan to go up in the next week or so. Also, Miami is interested now in me."
What are the 'Canes saying?
"They are interested and I'm on their mailing list along with LSU," he said. "I'm going to take a look at those schools too."
Meanwhile, Ogundeko maintains that Connecticut is in the race still.
"I'm still considering Connecticut," he said. "They are not out of my mind or off the table. I just want to consider other schools too."
Ogundeko plans to take a few more visits in the near future to Maryland, Rutgers and Syracuse on April 21st.
With more visits coming, the lineman hopes to see a few things as he reopens his options.
"I'm just looking for a great opportunity for an education," he said. "I also want a great opportunity to make it to the NFL."
