DE Ogundeko is blowing up

Offers are rolling in for Brooklyn (N.Y.) Thomas Jefferson defensive end Ebenezer Ogundeko. The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder landed four new offers in the past week including a huge one from the Big Ten.
"I got Ohio State yesterday, Purdue yesterday along with Stanford and Georgia Tech last week," he said. "Ohio State is a big offer, that's my first Big Ten school and Vanderbilt is my first SEC school, they came last week."

Ogundeko is honored to get the attention.
"First, I'd like to thank God, without him I couldn't do anything," he said. "I'm just working out to be the best. Obviously it's showing when I go to these combines. I play to dominate, but it's by God's grace. I'm living life to praise God every day."
Ohio State is a big offer to the three-star prospect and he touched on that.
"I was very excited," he said. "Urban Meyer is the head coach there and he's a great man. They provide a lot of opportunities to the NFL too, a lot of NFL players have come out of there."
A couple other schools are moving in.
"I'm getting high interest from Texas A&M and Alabama, both planning to offer me as well," he said. "They both said they love my film and are very interested."
According to Ogundeko, he hopes two other schools will still offer.
"To tell you the truth, I'd still like Clemson or Penn State," he said. "If you really look at their history, they coach great defensive linemen. I'm trying to be the best. To me, being a defensive end is about every move, every technique. You've got to learn it to master every move. It's like karate, to master every move you have to know what you're doing."
Ogundeko confirmed he plans to visit Syracuse on Wednesday followed by Rutgers on Saturday. He is planning a trip to Maryland sometime soon as well.
